New Idea For Film Trailer!

I came up with an idea which would fit in well with our trailer, the main character would run up the stairs frantically, go into a room and the light would turn off (transition- fade to back). Then the shot would go back to her but she would have transformed into the monster. This shot could incorporate well with the panning shot of the trees. Using the girl as the monster would break the mould in horror films as its usually girls who are seen as the victims. Another idea was to have a girl (girls are seen as vulnerable in horror films, this is a convention) to be looking out of the window, then a sound effects of loud footsteps and then fade to black rapidly.
